Department to Host Oxford Style Debate on Disclosure of Government Information

The department of Philosophy & Religion will be holding an Oxford Style Debate this spring in conjunction with the 2012 EKU First Amendment Celebration. The topic of the debate is the unauthorized disclosure of classified government information via the internet, e.g., WikiLeaks. The debate participants are:

Dr. Ginny Whitehouse from the Communication Department
Dr. Pat Costello from the Math and Statistics Department
Dr. Mike Collier from the Emergency Management, Safety, and Security Department.

Dr. Laura Newhart (Philosophy & Religion) will be the moderator. The debate will take place on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 7:30 to 9:00pm in the Adams Room (Wallace 149).  A printable flyer can be accessed here.
