Stoic Philosophy & the Covid-19 Pandemic: Thriving In Times of Uncertainty (Roundtable Series)
The novel coronavirus pandemic has affected our lives in many ways. While we know more about the disease now than we did a few months ago, much remains uncertain about this pandemic and its long-term effects on life and society. EKU Philosophy professors Mike Austin and Matthew Pianalto will lead a discussion on how the principles of ancient Stoic philosophy can help us to live well in spite of the uncertainties and threats posed by the pandemic.
This event will take place as a virtual meeting on zoom on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 3pm-4pm.
All are welcome to attend and participate.
To join the zoom session: the zoom link will be shared in an EKU Today announcement and at the webpage below on the day of the roundtable.
