Teena Blackburn Honored as an EKU Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year, Velez & Pianalto Also Nominated
Teena Blackburn has been chosen as a recipient of the annual EKU Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year Award. The award is given by University Programs in order to "recognize outstanding faculty members who have had substantial positive effects on developing their students’ critical/creative thinking skills."
Ms. Blackburn has taught courses on both ethics and world religions for the Department of Philosophy & Religion since 2010.
Matthew Pianalto and Abraham Velez, both associate professors in the Department of Philosophy & Religion, were also nominated for the award this year.
