Dr. Pianalto Receives CAS Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award

Dr. Matthew Pianalto, Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy & Religion, is the 2012-13 recipient of the EKU College of Arts and Sciences' Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award, in the area of Arts & Humanities. Annual awards are also given to faculty in the areas of social & behavioral sciences and natural & mathematical sciences. Dr. Pianalto will be formally recognized, along with recipients in the other two areas, at the Fall 2013 college meeting. The award comes with a $1000 honorarium to be used in support of his teaching and research, as well as three hours of reassigned time for further research.
